Enabling java sound modules
To enable java sound modules in Windows 98, click the 'Start' menu
button on your main toolbar and select 'Settings>Control Panel'.
Find the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon and double-click to open it.

Find the Java Runtime Environment with a version number of 1.4.2 (do
not select a version of 1.5 or 5).
Click the 'Add/Remove...' button. After a second, the Java installation
wizard will popup:

Click 'Next >'. On the next screen, select the 'Modify' option:

Click 'Next >'. The following screen is for option selection:

Click the icon with an arrow next to the third option 'Additional Font
and Media Support' and select the second option from the drop-down
list, 'This feature, and all subfeatures, will be installed on local
hard drive'. Then click 'Next >'.
The screen will change to a progress screen:

When the installation is complete, the final screen will appear:

Click 'Finish'.
