With your back to the motion sensor, reproduce your Prediction III drawing of a distance-time graph from Trial 2 by walking forwards for 20 seconds, stopping for 20 seconds, and continuing forwards for another 20 seconds on a 4 meter track. Refer to Technical Hints to see how to sketch a graph.
Refer to Technical Hints to record a series of measurements. Repeat until you capture the desired graph. Save the graph. Refer to Technical Hints to save a graph.
With your back to the motion sensor, reproduce your Prediction IV drawing of a distance-time graph from Trial 2 by walking backwards 2 meters down the 4 meter track instead of at the beginning of the track. After 10 seconds they stop 1 meter from the start of the track for 40 seconds, then walk back to the 2 meter mark in the last ten seconds. The elapsed time of the total motion should be 60 seconds.Refer to Technical Hints to see how to sketch a graph.
