• Make a collection of pictures of all of the vowel sounds. Draw the pattern for each vowel sound. Are the patterns the same for each person?
  
  
• Bring in musical instruments and test them with the sound grapher.
  
  
• Make a library of the different patterns that go with different musical instruments.
  
  
• Most sounds have many frequencies in them, and not just one, even though they sound like one pitch. The sound grapher has a special 'frequency grapher' feature to display the frequencies that are present in simple and complicated sounds. Try making different sounds and look at what frequencies are present in them. Refer to Technical Hints to use the frequency grapher.
